Cheers to 60 Years

Kix Bars & Nightclub is everything you need on one property.

Open daily with 7 bars, a package goods, a restaurant, and live entertainment — there is a lot to experience at Kix. With so much going on, Kix needed a creative system to organize event information and engage the audience without being intimidated. As the business marked 60 years, the system also needed to mark a distinct shift in identity, with the same fond nostalgia of its past.

Outcome

A broader "Cheers for 60 Years" brand with mini-campaigns for each month and a bold, but adaptable color palette was the solution. The primary and the secondary colors would switch to signify each month, highlight differences in entertainment schedules, and avoid brand fatigue. The colors and type faces were chosen for their warm feel and vintage vibes, with illustrations that amplify the fun. In addition to static content, the brand could also be adapted for motion graphics and short-form video content. This created a dynamic look for social media, while also amplifying the authentic and friendly brand voice of Kix and their staff.
